Training and Education
Support is available for Ph.D. candidates and post-doctoral fellows in the Department of Clinical and Social Sciences in Psychology who work at The Center. In addition to pursuing their own scholarly work, persons in these positions are encouraged to participate in clinical and research activities of The Center.
The Center employs undergraduate students on a part-time basis during the academic year as counselors in the After School Program, as well as during the summer in the Summer Camp Program. Counselors in these programs are frequently students in the social sciences, and many have found their experience at The Center invaluable as they continue their educations in related areas. Inquiries regarding undergraduate or part-time employment in the After School and Summer Camp Programs should be addressed to Tasia Verno. Internships are available on a limited basis, and can be done on a "for credit" basis through arrangements with other higher educational institutions.
