Research Participation

  1. I signed up for a study, but I don't know where/when my appointment is.
You should contact the faculty member, graduate student, or research assistant with whom you signed up for the study directly. The department does not currently maintain a centralized list of study locations or appointment times. Participants are responsible for noting the experimenter's name and contact information, and the information about their appointment, when they sign up.

  2. I had an appointment, and the experimenter never showed up.
Contact Loretta Pratt (273-3245) in her office (Meliora 356) to get a half-hour credit for your time. The experimenter will most likely contact you to reschedule.

  3. I lost my chit (extra credit slip). Can I get a replacement?

General Questions

  1. Does the Department administer any internships?
No, the Department does not administer any graduate or undergraduate internships. Current graduate students in the clinical program are assisted in finding outside internships by their advisor and the clinical faculty.

  2. I'd like advice about a psychology-related problem/concern. Whom can I talk to about it?
Although we'd like to help, this website is not the appropriate venue for such discussions. We suggest you refer to an individual counselor. The University provides counseling to current students through Counseling and Mental Health Services, and to the community through Strong Behavioral Health.
