Research Facilities

The Department offers excellent computing facilities to its faculty and graduate students.  Ethernet connections are provided to all of our faculty and graduate student offices.  The departmental computer lab/classroom features eleven workstations running Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003, SPSS and student versions of HLM and Lisrel.  Many of our faculty members also maintain their own computer labs, which are equipped with Macintosh or Windows computers.

Several libraries also contain books and journals of relevance to students and faculty.  The principal collection of psychology books and journals is held in the Rush Rhees Library, next to Meliora Hall.  The holdings include full runs of all the major journals.  An extensive collection of biological journals and books is held in the Carlson Library and the Edward G. Miner Library at the Medical Center.
