Research Overview

Dr. Jamieson will be accepting applications for graduate students for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The primary focus of Dr. Jamieson's work seeks to understand how experiences of stress impact decisions, emotions, and performance, and how stress responses can be optimized to promote resilience in the face of stressors. He is particularly interested in studying stress regulation across multiple contexts, including academic achievement, dyadic interactions, and competition to name a few. To understand in vivo stress processes, Dr. Jamieson's research frequently relies on assessing physiological responses, with a focus on autonomic and neuroendocrine measures.
