Getting Here by Bus
Driving Directions to the University of Rochester
From The East
Motorists coming to Rochester via the New York State Thruway, Rt. 90, should use Exit 46; take I-390 North to Exit 17. Turn left onto Scottsville Road. At the second light, bear right onto Elmwood Avenue. Cross the Genesee River Bridge and take a left onto Wilson Boulevard.
From The West
Use Thruway Exit 47, take I-490 East to I-390 South to Exit 17. Take a left onto Scottsville Road. At the third light, bear right onto Elmwood Avenue. Cross the Genesee River Bridge and take a left onto Wilson Boulevard.
From The South
Take I-390 North to Exit 17. Turn left onto Scottsville Road. At the second light, bear right onto Elmwood Avenue. Cross the Genesee River Bridge and take a left onto Wilson Boulevard. Top of Page
Once You’re On Campus
Directions to River Campus Information Booth
If you are using a GPS to locate the Information Booth, entering the intersection of Wilson Blvd and Trustee Rd should give you the most accurate driving directions.
Once you have turned onto Wilson Blvd, continue straight at the stop sign. The River Campus Information Booth is located on Wilson Blvd just after the stop sign. Ask the person at the booth for a parking pass from Psychology and say that your meeting is in Meliora Hall. They will give you a parking pass and directions to parking and from the parking to our building. A staff member will be waiting at the entrance of the building to meet you when you arrive.

Directions to Meliora Hall Lot
If you are using a GPS to locate Meliora Hall Lot, entering the intersection of Library Rd and Intercampus Drive should give you the most accurate driving directions.
Once you’ve turned onto Wilson Boulevard, immediately turn right onto Trustee Road. At the stop sign, turn left onto Intercampus Drive. Follow Intercampus Drive for 0.2 miles to the Meliora Hall Lot on the left, just before Library Road. A staff member will be waiting for you at the Meliora Hall Lot to help you find a parking spot.

Directions to Library Lot
If you are using a GPS to locate Library Lot, entering the intersection of Library Rd and Intercampus Drive should give you the most accurate driving directions.
Once you’ve turned onto Wilson Boulevard, immediately turn right onto Trustee Road. At the stop sign, turn left onto Intercampus Drive. Follow Intercampus Drive for 0.3 miles to the Library Lot on the left, just after Library Road. We suggest parking in the row of parking spots running parallel to Library Road. To get to our building, cross Library Road and walk up the hill. Meliora Hall is the building on the corner of Library Road and Intercampus Drive.

Getting Here by Bus
The bus routes that service the University of Rochester are the 19 and the 48. The bus stops outside Rush Rhees Library (the big building with the dome), across from the large parking lot. A staff member will meet you at the bus stop to walk you to our lab.
