Understanding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders

Christie Petrenko, research psychologist at the University of Rochester’s Mt. Hope Family Center and assistant professor at the Medical Center, has been involved in research and clinical interventions with children with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) and their families for over 10 years.  Dr. Petrenko was joined by Jennifer Faringer, director of DePaul’s National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence-Rochester Area, and two mothers of children with FASD on September 9, 2016 to talk about diagnosis, treatments and services.
