TRANSFORM- Home
Transform (Translational Research that Adapts New Science FOR Maltreatment) is a national resource center that conducts research, disseminates discoveries, and builds on state-of-the-art research and practices to foster the next generation of interdisciplinary professionals committed to preventing and addressing child abuse and neglect.
THE PROBLEM: WORKING IN SILOS
Every year, millions of children in the US suffer from child abuse. Efforts to break the intergenerational cycles of child abuse can only succeed when science translates into effective interventions—but many child-serving systems remain isolated from each other.
THE SOLUTION: COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE
Bring together a broad, local group of practitioners, policymakers, researchers, investigators, clinicians, lawyers, and other professionals committed to addressing and preventing child abuse, sharing knowledge, and transforming how we service children.
