Curriculum Course- Recorded Videos

Integrated Approaches to Preventing Child Maltreatment integrates knowledge from multiple disciplines to address the prevention, identification, and intervention of child maltreatment. The course examines risk factors, prevention strategies, and population-level interventions for various forms of child abuse, while exploring how unconscious bias, cognitive biases, and adverse childhood experiences impact child welfare disparities in healthcare settings. Healthcare professionals will develop competencies in recognizing secondary traumatic stress and implementing trauma-informed, equitable care practices across interdisciplinary teams. The course is made up of 6 modules:
