Mt. Hope Family Center is celebrating #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth by spotlighting members of our staff and how they take care of their mental health. We are kicking off with our Program Coordinator for PATHS, Nicholas Rosica!"Living in a world that seems to be moving faster day by day tends to sweep us off our feet, making it tough to find the time we need for ourselves. Jack Johnson wrote a depiction of this awareness in his tune Inaudible Melodies; "Slow down everyone, you're moving too fast". As simple and easy as this sounds, it can be a struggle. Personally, I found this to be possible through the love of playing music. Finding the time to sit down, pick up my guitar, and just play has been all I need in order to healthily regulate any stress or challenging emotions from my weekly responsibilities."#mentalhealth #music #spotlight #staff #awareness ...
