People who support Mt. Hope Family Center know they are helping families make life-altering decisions based on some of the best scientific research in the world; much of it, our own.

Our clinical therapists take research findings directly into the community, helping children and families improve attitudes and behaviors learned through generations of unhealthy family dynamics and negative community influences.

The majority of The Center’s revenue comes through grant and foundation funding and the use of these funds is generally restricted to specific purposes. We depend on donations to meet needs that may not fit into the grant guidelines, such emergency assistance to client families, providing temporary support for new program initiatives pending grant funding, and funding program activities that fall outside of specific grant guidelines.

Mt. Hope Family Center is a not-for-profit organization. The University of Rochester’s Office of Advancement processes all our donations and issues gift receipts to place in your tax files. Mt. Hope Family Center does not sell or share its list of donors with other organizations.
