Suicide Prevention Training for Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Hotline Workers

In this training developed in partnership with the EDC and the NDVH, and with funding from the CDC, you will further your knowledge of suicide prevention to better serve your clients.

Our 5 modules focus on increasing:

  • Your knowledge about the association between IPV and suicide
  • Your ability to identify warning signs of suicide and how to ask about suicidal thoughts and behavior
  • Your confidence to assess and respond to suicidal clients, including vulnerable subgroups such as veterans and the LGBTQ community
  • An awareness of how to care for yourself and/or support others when working with clients at-risk for suicide
